Inclement Weather Policy

As a leading industry cloud-computing training provider, ClearEdge IT Solutions takes the safety of our students and staff very seriously. Therefore, on days when inclement weather is a concern, our management team will update our Inclement Weather Hotline each morning by 7 a.m. with information regarding closures or abbreviated class schedule. ClearEdge follows the Federal Government schedule for closures and delayed start due to inclement weather. Operating status notifications are made on the following stations beginning on or about 5 am EST:

Television announcements will show ‘Federal Executive Board Agencies’ or just ‘Federal Executive Board’.

Code Yellow - Delayed Start - 10 AM

  • Students should arrive at 10 AM
  • Course departure is delayed 30 minutes

Code Blue - Delayed Start - Noon

  • Course is cancelled
  • Students can retake course within six-months at no charge

Code Red - Closed to the Public

  • Course is cancelled
  • Students can retake course within six-months at no charge

If training has not been cancelled but a student feels they cannot safely make it to class, this decision is left to the student’s discretion. However, notification must be provided to the ClearEdge Training Facilitator at (443) 212-4710 or prior to 12:00 p.m. on the day of class so that plans can be made to reschedule. If notification is not provided, the student will be recorded as a no-show and will forfeit 100% of the course registration fee. Additionally, the make-up class must be rescheduled within six (6) months of the start of the original course or the student will forfeit 100% of the course registration fee. In the event ClearEdge cancels training due to weather conditions, we will reschedule all training classes and make up the days as soon as possible. Students will be notified of the dates for any rescheduled classes.

Refunds and Cancellation Policy

ClearEdge IT Solutions must receive a valid purchase order or full payment prior to the start of the course. The company reserves the right to cancel* courses up to 7 days prior to the published start date. Please consider this when making travel plans as ClearEdge IT Solutions liability is limited to a full refund of tuition only.

We recognize that cancellations* are sometimes unavoidable. Participants who notify ClearEdge IT Solutions in writing at least 7 days prior to the start date of a course are entitled to a full tuition refund. Participants who cancel within the 7-day period before the course start date will be eligible for a 50% tuition refund. Participants who register and fail to attend the course are not eligible for a refund. Substitutions can be made up to 24 hours prior to the first day of class by providing the substitute student’s name and contact information to ClearEdge.

* ClearEdge IT Solutions and its affiliates are not responsible for any fees that may be associated with the cancellation of any other travel-related expenses (e.g. hotel, airline etc.)
